WORSHIP SERVICES
Like our adults, our students are encouraged to attended regular worship services to focus on Christ, engage God’s word, and participate in corporate worship. This is such an important value that we don’t offer any programming on Sunday morning for our high school students. Participating in the worship service strengthens their own discipleship and gives both parents and students a shared experience so the faith conversation can extend beyond Sunday mornings.
LARGE GROUPS
Junior High and High School students also have separate large group gatherings that focus on Biblical teaching, peer community, and inviting lost friends.
GROW
GROUPS
In the same way that groups drive our adults in relational discipleship, we want LHC Youth group life to be normal practice for students by the time they graduate from high school. Groups take place after large group gather time, in the same environment. Leaders pastor students, foster a sense of community and help students take next steps in ministry and mission. Since Group starts immediately following the teaching portion, the discussions focus on application and practical steps and mentoring teens.
BOOTCAMP
Bible Bootcamp is a deep level discipleship track. We offer it so students can be equipped to answer tough questions and wrestle through doubts they may have regarding their faith.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP
HSM offers this for students who would like to take their faith and leadership to the next level.
GIVE
MINISTRY SERVICES
Ministry service represents the “other side of the coin” in spiritual growth. Group leaders prompt students to serve, both during the Sunday morning corporate worship and through out the week.
GO
LOCAL MISSIONS
Students are challenged to live their Biblical mission, to invest in friends who are far from God, and to be a light in a lost world. Inaddition, LHC offers opportunities for students to minister locally to neighbors who live within a 30-mile radius from Liberty Heights. Most of these opportunities will arise out of Groups.
DOMINICAN GO TRIP
Students who are Juniors and Seniors are invited to join us on mission as we serve our friends in the Dominican Republic. This is an exclusive trip for upper classmen and is a highlight for all who make it a point to go!
